This is an original acrylic painting I did on a 10" x 8" canvas. The frame is about .75" wide. The work is of a starfish. I chose a vibrant light blue for the background. I covered the painting with a polymer medium which gives it a unique glossy finish. I then used various pens and markers to do the final accents and outlines. The work is painted all around the sides of the canvas so framing is not necessary. I will add screw eyes and wire on the back for hanging upon purchase. I am a South Carolina artist!
