This is an original acrylic painting I did on a 10" x 8" gallery wrapped canvas. The frame is a little over .5" wide. The piece is from a series of abstract animal paintings I have been working on. This particular piece is of a Caribbean Squirrel Fish. I chose a mix of vibrant blues and greens for the background. I covered the painting with a polymer medium which gives it a unique glossy finish. I then used various pens and markers to do the final accents and outlines. The work is painted all around the sides of the canvas so framing is not necessary. I will add screw eyes and wire on the back for hanging upon purchase. I am a South Carolina artist!
