Artist Reply: Thanks so much....this was for a client and like all commissions, I sweat it out, making sure everything is as requested. The price I gave was two thousand dollars and the client agreed without barter. He picks it up on Friday....His original idea was, after sending me the photo references, was for me to make it "painterly" and not to slavishly remake the photo. I e-mailed him today with the results and he was delighted....said he will pick it up between 11:a.m. and 1:p.m. on Friday....and he will bring his check book. I feel very relaxed....
