The lock of Anderlecht arround 1900

In those days Anderlecht was still a green village, near Brussels, along the channel Brussels-Charleroi. The watercolor represents a small vessel, current in that time, preparing for entering the lock. Today the community is a part of the verge of Brussels. The new lock is approachable for ships till 1500 tons. Image size: 260 x 360 mm
