I created this artwork showing a silhouetted little boy on his first airplane ride looking at the sky from his window seat view. My artwork was inspired by a young relative's first plane ride to attend his grandfather's funeral. Although my young 8 year-old relative was in grief over his grandfather's death, he was somewhat comforted by his fascination experiencing his first airplane travel. I used the Paint program on my computer to produce my artwork.
