I tend to use monsters, creatures, or abstractions of both to convey human emotions; I feel that using this kind of imagery works best for doing so. This little guy shows embarrassment through color, symbolism and posture. He's a bit embarrassed because his flowers are wilting so he's a little down. I know that when I become embarrassed; whether it be for my looks or what I did, I tend to apologize a lot. This piece and it's companion piece were inspired by the artist Erika Sanada.
