It's been awhile since I've uploaded a simple pen drawing/sketch, but I did several this week to help the time pass while upgrading a PC. I thought I would share. It's roughly 7 by 5 inches and I used a gel pen. Original Jones Art hailing from Austin, Texas.

Robert Stuart and Bill Flynn did a lot of pen and ink work for L & L Studio. Most of the cartoon work I did in the 60's was under their watchful eyes. I still have boxes of nibs and pens that seldom see light, now.

Artist Reply: I know this is a 'Stan' remark. :) Drawings have more a sense of immediacy than other art forms, I think. I did several this week, as I said, to fight back the boredom that sometimes accompanies computer work. I use them usually to prime the creative pump and to surprise me, as they sometimes do, when I just let things flow.
