What a wonderful painting

Artist Reply: Like my contented cow, I am feeling rather 'contented' myself with all these wonderful compliments of yours. Thanks!

is that an Ozzy cow!!! Rex...

Artist Reply: More Ozzy than most! The cow is a cross bread of two brown & white dairy cattle: the Ayrshire from Scotland (which consistently won prizes at the Royal Melbourne show during the late 1890s) & the other is Illawarra. One Ayrshire bull called “The Earl of Beaconsfield” proved outstanding when mated with cattle of the Illawarra...So I guess it has earned its citizenship here :-)

Artist Reply: Thanks Joanie! I have wanted to paint a cow for a long time. My wife Lyn, chose the name for it:-)
