In the eighties we spend a few summer-holidays at a camping in Casteljeau where the river, during the centuries, carved a splendid canyon in the limestone. A few weeks ago I found an old slide that shows very well the holiday-sfere along the river with people taking a sun-bath on the flat rocks and gravel-beds. In the back the cliff « Rond Redon » , disrecpectful called the penis . It was in that time a really got taste in making aquarels and I am shure some farmers and tourists still have a work of my hand painted on the spot.
