Paddle-tug

How elegant the big sailing- ships could be at sea, until the middle of the nineteenth century draging those monsters in and out a port was an infernant job. But than steam makes his appaerance and however paddle-boats had their limitations, build as a tug, they where a gift of God for the ports. Not only for the handling of the heavy vessels but in the mean time they served as pilot-boat. But one can hardly call them « mothers most beautifull ». Image size : 260 x 360 mm

Sometimes, form follows function. I think this is a beauty and you've done her justice.
