The Perfect Position

I have a lot of health conditions that are challenges to deal with. In one of my health support groups, I was exposed to this quote: "When life's unexpected challenges pushes you to your knees, you're in the perfect position to pray."- Author of quote is unknown. That quote is the inspiration for my artwork showing a silhouetted female kneeling and praying. I used the Paint program on my computer to produce my art.

So simple and so powerful! Our bodies are not perfect, but we are not bodies, we have them. Lets pray for our well-being.

Artist Reply: Thank you for admiring my artwork and for your insightful words Zofia. :)

Very nice portfolio. This is very nice, although the "position" is relative... I would love to be able to get into that position but my arthritis is so bad I would never be able to get back up. I have to pray and do about everything, even paint, in bed. I sometimes really wish I could change my position really. Your paintings make the physical body seem fluid and transcendent. Nice.

Artist Reply: I sincerely thank you Adelle for your very kind words about my artworks. Thank you also for taking the time to view my Portfolio. I have osteoarthritis, and I have my good days, and I have my bad days, and I pray to God to help get me through everyday. I will pray for your well-being Adelle. :)
