I too really like ravens and crows because they are such great Acrobats. Very Reminiscing Scene of an old WW II Battlefield . Love the Concept

Tony: Very nice! I especially love ravens and crows because they are such intelligent birds. I imagine the one in the foreground is thinking, "who do they think they are fooling?". Best regards, Will

Artist Reply: Thanks, Will. Read today that magpies are not attracted to shiny objects - which kind of undermines its intent on the brass buttons... Oh, well.

I AGREE WITH CINDY.. TERRIFIC BACK GROUND AND ON THE BIRDS... THEY ARE SOMETIMES CORKERS TO PAINT... AND A VERY SCARY SCARECROW.. BUT DOESN'T SCARE THE BIRDS...LOL... JOANIE

Artist Reply: Thanks, Joanie. Birds (always an enthusiasm) have a special meaning for me - seabirds, raptors, owls and corvids in particular.

Great painting Tony . He scares me. I do love your background.

Artist Reply: Many thanks. I like the idea of combining the peaceful (background) with the grotesque (foreground).
