Artist Comments: "While traveling to the many kite festivals and conventions, I spent time in Florida, where there were many innovative and beautiful kites. I was especially impressed by this one that was made to represent a wasp. With the many edges catching the wind it sounded like it was humming. To recapture the 'hot' pink color, I used model paint which worked well and won't fade or change with time."
