I still have a few of my 80's paintings hanging about the place. In the mid-80's I painted a series I called Requiem. There was another in the series I really liked called Requiem: Lilacs and Barbed Wire, but I don't know what happened to it. This is a 30 by 20 inch acrylic painting on stretched canvas. Artist Reply: Thanks, Curtis! Yeah, I was playing with depth perception (3-D?) on this series. Maybe I should do a 'new' requiem. Hope you are doing great. :)

I do not care for the title but, I like the effect.

Artist Reply: It's difficult to take a pic of a painting like this, Stanley, but the original has the central off-white panel squarely in the middle. Also that middle area glows in the dark, even after all these years. The title? It came to me in process, so I stick by it. :)
