This week I am on 'vacation.' I promised someone I would attempt a portrait of her. There's a good reason why I'm not a portrait artist, I think. :) Working from provided snaps, this is my first attempt. It is an acrylic painting on 20 by 16 inch gallery-wrapped canvas. Original Jones Art.

I did portrait work almost every year around the fall. Mistakenly, got a hunting-fishing license that I was unable to use for several years. After a few years I just got a fishing license and after a while I did not bother with as I knew there would not be time to use it. Since being disabled I have not had anyone wanting to buy one of my portraits. Now, that I have time to hunt and fish, I am no longer physically adept.
