This is a color pencil painting based on an old photo taken by my father-in-law. I think that this is my mother-in-law walking. They are both gone now, but I can't help but wondering where she was headed at this point in her life. I felt that this contained a good concept for a painting that perhaps contains several layers of meaning to each viewer. It is done on Dura-lar polyester film using Prismacolor Verithin pencils. Its dimensions are 5 inches X 7 inches. I welcome comments on this painting and any of the other found in my portfolio.
