Saw this cut piece of cherry wood and knew I had to do something with it. Turned into an owl’s nest in acrylic - the whole thing is about 30cm in height and will be on sale in the shop I volunteer at. I’m honestly quite happy how this turned out considering I’d never painted a picture like this directly onto wood before. Any comments to help me improve for next time?
