Aluminum (espresso pot lid), Shell. 5"x4"x.6" 2.1 oz. I found the shell fragment on the 'shore' (above the bathtub ring) of Shasta Lake. i don't know if it lived there or was brought by a camper (or bird). It has a barnacle, looks like weathered abalone to me. Abalone was traded by coastal Karuk people to local Shasta, so maybe...
