This was the third assignment in my painting class. We had to draw in, then paint one or more shells together. The original colour of the background was grey; I changed it to a warmer shade and it helped the painting immensely. We could only use three colours for this project - white, black and burnt umber. 20"x24" acrylic on Masonite.
