Young Grizz

This is a young male Grizzly. He happens to be much darker in color than most Grizzlies, but with the dish in his nose, the hump in his back and silvery edges to his fur, he is definitely a Grizzly. I was only about 30 yards away from him at this time, but in a vehicle. He was too busy eating to even bother. Most of the time he was chowing down on what vegetation he could find, only popping up his head and sniffing once in a while....which is when I had my moment of opportunity. This was taken inside of Yellowstone National Park near the Sylvan Pass area.
