a couple a saw in the bus in berlin. He was crawling al over here, she was not that interested. Did they have a fight before, was he loosing his glamour for her?

Perhaps this is what he loves the pursuit of her attentions! And maybe she likes it this way too... him ever longing for her eyes to turn to him.... She may be wise in her actions! Just the same this is a true to love n life image that U have caught n held to the screen of life for all to ponder! She still allows him to smile upon her shoulder!!! Excellent depiction of reality!!! CB

Her expression says it all! I prefer this painting over the similar blue one, yet blue may be a better color to depict the "cold shoulder"

wonderful brushwork Mieke...i felt the feeling of non interest before i read the words explaining the work... i know you wont like to know this, but you are one of my favorite painters... : )
