I was looking at the Swordfish. Is this just before the Hurricanes arrived? As you can see I could wander about the aviation museum for weeks and research the archives and still I wouldn't have the right mix of petrol and passion you are showing here.

Artist Reply: Hi...it`s just before the Hurricanes arrived, I actually think the RAF in Malta did have one or two Hurri`s, but they were unserviceable, thus the Gladiators fought gallantly

My Dad would have loved your aircraft paintings - fantastic!!!

Artist Reply: Thanks Wendy...it`s great fun doing them, the research is as much fun as doing the paintings.

Nice to get the chance to portray the rarer aircraft sometimes - i mean the Cr42's. nice study of the Gladiator too.

Artist Reply: Thanks Jeremy...yeah, this won`t be the last time you`ll see CR-42`s from me...I like these biplane fighters!
