"Family Night" a 18" x18" x 12" ORIGINAL PAPERCLAY, ACRYLIC PAINT, and MIXED MEDIA SCULPTURE I imagine the typical night in a Day of the Dead household looks something like this! Or maybe this is how they envision we, the skellies with flesh, spend our nights! You have one skelly with remote in hand getting ready to turn on the retro TV, another absorbed in fantasy reading, the skelly cat smirking while cleaning the bones, and the beloved dog dreaming of play time! This scene includes all 7 pieces -- couch (10"Lx10.5"H), two skellies including the remote and the Alice in Wonderland book, TV (12"H), rug (10"Lx7"W), the skelly cat (4.5"L by 4.5"H), and the skelly dog with his bone (6"L by 6"H). The entire scene may be set up in a 18"x18"x12" space. You don't even have to keep the pieces together! This is the first time I have ever created a complete scene with free-standing characters. I hope you enjoy the time and attention to detail it took to sculpt a couch, envision and create a retro skull TV, make a rug, and lovingly breathe life into a skelly couple and their pets!
