A client came to me with a new product - a polystyrene hard hat in the shape of a cowboy hat. He wanted it to look special, somewhat like a real cowboy hat. Thinking about the fine hats I used to see back at the Cheyenne Frontier Days in my teens, this is what I painted. I used automotive urethanes and Grex and Iwata airbrushes.
