Fille Provencale

Since we got here in Provence in July I've managed to paint most days. The dazzling sunlight and intense heat seems to make the colours all the more vibrant. On the way to St Remy de Provence a few weeks ago I saw a girl walking through the last of the Lavender fields and it gave me an idea for this painting.
