Sometimes all we CAN do is grin and bear it, don't you think? :) Felt-tip, gel pen and colored pencil. Image area is 7 and 1/2 by 5 and 3/8 inches. Original Jones Art grinning from ear to ear in northwest Austin, Texas.
Oops, I didn't sign in. That was me down there. Picture still scary. Must leave now. I think it's telling me things!
Artist Reply: Thanks for commenting, Gerald. If you put your hand over one side of the face, he only appears to be 'very' happy; if you put your hand over the other side, you'd better run for the straitjacket---no, wait...he has no means of mobility. You're safe then. ;)

This picture scares the hell out of me! -- and I mean that in a good way. If I hung this in my bedroom, I'd never get any good sleep. I'd just be staring at it staring at me, waiting for it to do whatever sinister thing it was bound to do.
Excellent Work, Charles!!!!! Your Use of Color has added a New Enlightening Dimension to Your Work!!
Artist Reply: I've had fun with adding the color markers into the mix. This was a reworking of a small sketch I'd made in '11, a fragment really, but I thought this worked out nicely. Thanks, Chris!
