The Potomac?

Artist Reply: It depends, John, on how you look at it. The body of water here is the Tidal Basin--which is a kind of lake directly connected to the Potomac. It's between the Jefferson Memorial and Washington Monument, and so is often used for water shots--especially 'cus there are gorgeous cherry trees all along its shore!
