Inside Woodford Reserve Brewery

This is where Bourbon was born in the early 1800s before prohibition. Bourbon is the only drink in America that is recognized as a truly American drink. Congress passed that law. Woodford Reserve is the only place where bourbon has been continuously made, meaning that it was legal for it to continue making it through prohibition for medicinal purposes. Next year will be its 200 year anniversary. This very interesting place is in Versailles, Kentucky. The top photo shows the stills. We were up on that level, but I thought this a more interesting photo. The 2nd photo is where the mash is fermented. Believe me, the aroma is potent and obviously permeates every pore. I hope you enjoy

As the brew is Rising Pronouncedly with a lively Pulsating Quality, Barely under control and with a purpose, towards some unknown distillation, without limits, Depicting for Us scenes that are all the Rage! --It's a good thing I don't drink anymore!
