RUINS OF THE FORMER GOLDEN CASTLE

Williamsburg, Virginia, September 2011, acrylic on plastic protecting another painting, 20" x 28." Not for sale, although beautiful prints available. Contact me regarding them or any other topic, almost. This painting will hold a major function in the continuation of THE PURPLE MOUNTAIN SERIES that began with "The Purple Mountain" painting and has welcomed several other painting-episodes since. Thank you for your interest. Peace, etc., Bruce

I love the glittering gold behind the bars of the gate and the beautiful stairs. How demolished it is, the wonderful golden castle. Luckily the banner is still blowing in the wind and I'm sure that one day all this will rise to former glory, because the foundation is strong and intact. :)
