BET THERE ARE SOME FASCINATING NAMES AND DATES THERE, DON. BEAUTIFUL THERE AND PHOTO.

Artist Reply: Sharon, thank you! Yep, this peaceful place has many famous Virginians' names on its gravestones. I was very lucky with the lighting that day.

I love old cemeteries, this one looks so well kept, beautiful headstones.

Artist Reply: hi, Ruth. This is the 1789 Old Chapel cemetery in Virginia. Yes, it is particularly well tended. When I was there in 2009 some of the Confederate soldiers' graves had recently-placed Confederate flags on them.
