Evening in Terlingua

Hand painted from a blank screen using Microsoft Paint and a mouse. Terlingua used to be a mining town- now a ghost town as many such places became. There are a couple of classy retreats there now, where one can go and see for miles in virtual solitude. It is in the Big Bend country, bordering on the Rio Grande. A coyote may howl and you'll hear an answering voice, saying they are not alone. You can hear the grasses crunch under foot, the birds of prey's wings swish overhead, and even your own breath. It is a place for contemplation, peace and enjoyment of nature.

Sometimes you tend to see what isn't there and paint it anyway!
