Born in 1982 in Ankara - Turkiye. Graduated from Austrian high school in 2001 in Istanbul, and completed Bachelor's degree at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg in 2005. Obtained Master's degree from Worcester Polytechnic University.

Started taking photos in 1994, and taking photography seriously since 2003.
