Indian Corn was one image I did last month is about 45 minutes. It's about 8" x 10". I have found that if I work quickly and suggest texture and form with color-wet into wet the results are better than trying to control the watercolor. It seems to work best when I allow the watercolor to be. Hum, sounds like a philosophy of life.

Click for larger view Hi everyone. It has been a while since I have posted any artwork. I have been working, but life sometimes gets in the way.

I'd like to try something many artists are doing, that is post a painting a day. This is a New Year's resolution that I think is important to keep for both discipline as well as creative momentum.

I'd like to try to commit to 15 minutes of quiet eflective time before working for a few hours on the daily painting. Subject is random as is technique and medium.

Anyone who would like to join me in this venture please do and we can tavel this journey. I think it will teach me a great deal.

I'll upload a few images I have been doing in the past few months. Let me know what you think. Thanks. Happy and Peaceful Holidays. Aleta
