THE PHOTOGRAPHER/VIDEOGRAPHER Alan first took up photography and videography in high school, and never looked back. His shooting skills has taken him all over the state of California to shoot baptisms, weddings and conferences. Alan now works as a freelance graphic designer, videographer, illustrator and photographer out of his home studio in West Sacramento, CA.

THE DESIGNER In his youth, Alan loved to draw people and sculpt his own creatures out of clay. He pursued his passion into high school. Since his junior year, Alan has been involved with Friday Night Live, a statewide group that promotes a positive and healthy youth lifestyle. His projects range from designing Red Ribbon Week Shirts to editing end-of-the-year videos. He has also created designs for The Youth Leadership Institute, The Center for Student Credit Card Education, Sacramento Audio Specialists: Pantera Sound The United States Army, and Teenwork Inc. to name a few.

THE AIRBRUSH ARTIST Alan has been airbrushing since the age of 15. He started airbrushing at a local swapmeet and continued to hone his craft continually throughout high school. He also worked for Airbrush Design, an airbrush t-shirt store inside the Galleria at Tyler in Riverside, CA. The artist currently airbrushes for Ghetta Clue of Sacramento, CA taking on projects both large and small. His most recent projects include: airbrushing a 6'x6' portrait of Gene Simmons for a Microsoft Ready To Rock Themed Corporate Party at the Moscone Center in San Francisco and tattoo airbrushing at the "House of Dew" during an NBC Extreme Sports Event in San Jose, CA.

THE FUTURE Alan Silva is working towards being a full-time children’s book illustrator, art teacher and airbrush artist. I truly enjoy drawing from my imagination and I believe drawing children’s books and airbrushing all kinds of designs for people are the best outlets to do it through. I have several published works and hopefully this type of work will just keep on coming...
