I was born in 1947 in Indonesia, live in the Netherlands since 1954, married and two children. I am a professional (freelance) software developer. In the autumn of 2007 I started drawing as a hobby. Did a lot of Internet pencil drawing tutorials first, like "drawing eyes", "drawing mouth and teeth", "drawing a rose" etc., before I started with my first pencil portrait (daughter). Definitely want to try other mediums too in the future (need more time and space).
