Claire Louka (b.1982) received a BFA in Fine Arts from Clemson University and a MAT in art education from Lander University. Her art mostly focuses on the human condition; she tells the story of her characters by immersing them in familiar scenes embedded with symbolism and distortion. Even in the absence of human forms a human presence is implied.
