I am self taught painter. The first time I picked up a paint brush to begin my first painting, was in June of 2007. Since then I have been working to create more. I've always enjoyed pencil drawing and was afraid that I wouldnt be very good at painting, considering the talent that exists out here. Pure, raw, natural talent! Then, I finally took a leap and started to paint using acrylic.
I was surprised at how well it turned out actually! What I view as mediocre, others view as great, which helps push me forward to work harder to improve.
I love the expressions and emotions that can be captured by the many art mediums used to create beauty.
