I was in a car accident that left me dead. I saw my body in front of me. So much blood. They packed my body up on a stretcher and took me to the hospital. I was in the ambulance the whole time - watching them bring me back to life. I looked out the window and saw something following the ambulance. I've no idea what it was. Dark trails and tendrils. Multiple eyes. But it whispered my name over and over. Telling me I was finished in this life. Held out a tendril to coax me into grabbing it. Instead, I looked back at my body and made a leap of faith. No light, no warmth. Just pain.
Wisps of white, here and there In clouds that frolic with the wind Looting my soul until it lay bare Lost, perhaps, where do I begin? I float away on rivers made of lead A promise never kept towards the dead Making me the ghost from nowhere.
