Self Portrait

Had a website teaching Line Dancing with Animated dancers, but have now canceled it due to the fact that all I want to do is Paint. I just started Painting in January and really am having to learn all over again.I took a few classes at Weber State College in Utah back in the 70s but have not painted since. But I am disabled now [Heart Attack] and I have plenty of time to practice.I have no problem with my Portraits looking like the subject,I just need lots and lots of practice in blending the colors and shadows and such. My art is not great but with each one I do I seem to get a little bit better. And the more I do the more I can see in the model or reference Photo. Taught Line Dancing in Louisville Kentucky thru the 90s, even had a Television show doing the same.I also had a website teaching dancing with Animated Dancers using Poser. But I cancelled it a few weeks ago. After my Heart Attack I cant dance anymore,I would last for about 30 seconds. But I have no regrets, and I really love Painting.Sometimes I do climb on my trusty mobility scooter "Scout" and ride to the Cafe.I take a lot of Photos at the Cafe to practice my Portrait Painting. I intend on learning everything I can from the Artists here at AW. By the way,I sign my work with " Pooger". Poo as in Pooh Bear And ger as in German. When I was six months old I weighed 35 pounds and everyone called me Pudgie. My little sister couldn't say it and it became "Pooger". It has been my nickname all my life.
