Hello, I'm new to this website and wanted to say hello. From Boston, I'm 56 and have always been artistic but never really painted. After being laid off almost two years ago, I decided to try painting to pay the bills. I've had two artshows, sold three paintings and still can't pay the bills. Lol. I work in watercolors and never having been taught to paint, I tend to just recreate what I see. I've recently tried to step out if my comfort zone and try things from my imagination. I also design gowns and quilt. I hope you like my work. Cheers Judie

Thanks for the welcome and kind words. I've been painting for just about a year now. I enjoy almost everything I've tried. I have some florals and will try and get them scanned. Currently I am working on a related artsy thing. I have three gowns I am making. One for a beauty pageant and two wedding gowns. Hi Judy.. a suggestion, since you do animals. Take a picture of two of your works to the local vet and ask him if you can advertise for commissions! Does give you some work here and there!!! Regads Trixi
