Something New.....

This week's hike, with my wonderful husband, was to a place the two of us had been before...almost 30 years ago. We were so young..... The Greenwater Lakes trail is one that our daughter and I hiked at least 8-10 times a year in the last 4 years. This moderate trail offers so much beauty in all of the seasons. Many photos posted at this site are from here. This view is from our favorite place to have lunch But since we were here 5 months ago, this big cedar went down, covering our lunch log on the shore and changing the scenery somewhat. My husband and I backed up a little and had lunch under another big cedar, out of the light mist. We continued up river from this lake to the second one and then beyond to the horsecamp...a total of almost 3 mi. It's always a treat to be here. The hike continues..... Thanks for stopping by!!! :)

Just great, Mary. I see a little snow left. Is it warm or cold there?

Artist Reply: We were just under the snow level of 2000 ft, so it was a little chilly. Spring is late here, but not as bad as the East. There is hope.... Thanks again, who is this???
