Began fine art classes in late 90's; color theory really changed my life. Primarily plein air painting often with the Monday Morning Painters in Sonoma County,CA. I do love abstract painting in studio, see what develops in multiple glazes, usually oil, sometimes acrylic. I look for energy and emotive content, take longer in the landscape to find the heart, the focal point, for me that day, can take an hour of hiking and such.
